Starting Salary $62,764.
Our Agency Operated Homes are residential settings for boys and girls who have been experiencing difficulties with life at home and are in need of care and structured living which the group homes are able to provide. The In-House Counsellor is to provide the support and care of these clients as well as their safety, health and overall well-being. It is the In-House Counselor responsibility to promote the best interest of the youth and to provide stability by providing individual counselling and to provide group sessions with each client.
Qualifications:

Interest in working with children, youth, and life experiences.
Willing to attend training as required.
Knowledge of and lived experience with the Indigenous culture.
Good verbal and written skills.
Ability to speak Oji-Cree or Ojibway is an asset.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Valid driver’s license or willingness to obtain driver’s licence.
Travel is a requirement.
