Modstruct Inc is a construction company based in Thunder Bay. We build structures for residential housing and we take pride in our work. We are hiring a Full-Time Skilled Labourer to support building multi-family homes in Thunder Bay, Ontario
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, physically capable, and willing to help wherever needed. The Skilled Labourer plays an important support role by helping keep the jobsite clean and organized, assisting with general shop tasks, running materials and equipment between the yard and job sites, and supporting the carpenter and joining in carpentry work.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the jobsite
- Assist with general labour and helper duties around the shop as required
- Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment between suppliers and job sites
- Support crews with basic tasks to keep work moving efficiently
- Work with Carpentry team completing carpentry work at the direction of the Supervisor/Foreman
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
Job requirements
- Valid Class G driver’s licence
- Experience working with power tools and hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to take direction and help with a variety of tasks
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Able to work in a physically active role

Compensation: Up to $22 per hour based on experience.
