Quality & Assurance Analyst

Sencia Canada Ltd’s Informetica Division is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst with a background in computer science or computer programming. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality assurance testing for the Informetica Learning Management System.

Tasks may include:
– Conducting quality assurance work related to positioning solutions for our learning management system. This includes following company’s quality assurance standards and implement required tasks to ensure product complies with such standards.
– Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, and programs for testing, verifying, and validating complex software in accordance with project requirements and industry best practices.
– Able to develop and execute test cases in a collaborative environment with the ability to derive quality metrics from the development environment.
– Designing test methods for verification and validation, driving test planning, monitoring test execution, and tracking issues to ensure software meets quality standards. Takes challenges head-on, troubleshooting problems, and bringing innovative solutions
– Perform both automated testing scripts and conducts manual tests as required.
– Documentation of the different developed modules.
– Conduct Risk Analysis
