Duties and Responsibilities:

Repair and replace hydraulic pumps, safety valves, and any other necessary mechanical components
Perform incidental welding operations on steel and/or aluminum equipment
Diagnose defects in heavy duty equipment and perform required mechanical repairs
Plan and Installation of new and added-on equipment. Example – Snow plow, sanders, dump boxes, cement mixers, decks etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

All levels of Apprentices to Journeyman are encouraged to apply
Proficient and demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, schematics, diagnostics, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy-duty trucks or trailers
Install experience for plow, sanders, dump boxes etc. as asset
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis
