POSITION SCOPE
We are currently recruiting for summer students to join our Canada Malting Operations team in Thunder Bay. Our students participate in a variety of activities in the plant including sanitation (washing using a high pressure wash system, shoveling, sweeping, etc.) and other minor related assignments involved in the production process for malt.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
Positive attitude and self-starter
Excellent communication and written skills
Ability to work alone or in a group
Attention to detail
Well rounded and motivated
Previous safety training an asset
Please be advised that all eligible applicants will be required to successfully complete relevant training in regards to safety and standard operating procedures
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Safety training provided upon hiring.
Personal Protective Equipment required in all work environments.
Some shift work required.
Some positions require outdoor work.
Work around automated equipment.
Some overtime may be required.
