Since 1984 Avenue II has supported adults with developmental disabilities to live independently in their own home, complete activities of daily living, to access and participate in community based activities and/or to access and acquire employment.
Part time Support Worker – 29 hours per week
Qualifications – Minimum of secondary education, Developmental Service Worker Diploma preferred, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. The successful candidates will be expected to be available for nights, weekends and statutory holidays.
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance, a vulnerable sector criminal records check, proof of vaccination and a valid First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certificate are all requirements for this position.
